We asked one question: why should comfort ever be an afterthought?
Tailor Vintage was born from a deeply personal frustration. The innerwear available in Indian markets was either overpriced and over-engineered, or cheap and uncomfortable. There was nothing in between — nothing that balanced premium cotton, thoughtful design, and honest pricing.
So in 2024, we built it ourselves. Starting from Madurai, obsessing over every thread, every waistband, every seam — because we believe that how you start your morning matters. The first thing you wear should be the last thing you have to think about.
From Idea to Identity
Frustrated with the state of innerwear in India, we decided to do something about it. Hours of research, fabric sourcing, and late-night conversations over chai led to a single conviction: comfort deserved better craftsmanship.
We visited mills, tested over forty fabric swatches, and rejected everything that didn't meet our standard. Finally, we found the right 100% cotton blend — breathable, soft against skin, and built to last through hundreds of washes.
With our first three styles — Classic Blue Check, Charcoal Grey, and Sky Blue — we launched on our website and Amazon. Within the first month, 200+ orders poured in from across India. The response was beyond anything we expected.
We expanded to Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra and Ajio — making Tailor Vintage accessible to every corner of India. COD was added by popular demand, and our return policy was strengthened to back every product with total confidence.
We crossed 5,000 happy customers and a 4.8-star average rating. New styles are in development. Our commitment remains the same: premium cotton, honest pricing, and comfort that never demands your attention.
